Livonia Obstacle Courses

The one and only

Athletika Sports and Fitness offers the only full time functioning obstacle courses in Michigan supported by obstacle training classes regardless of weight, fitness level, or age. Athletes and thrill seekers alike may test their skills and master the secrets for successful completion of all three levels of American Ninja Warrior style obstacle courses from beginner to advanced, so getting bored isn’t an option!

Challenge yourself on obstacle favorites including warped walls, the salmon ladder, floating stairs, ring traverse, and many more!  Please reserve your course individually or for up to six participants in one hour blocks or sign up for classes as soon as possible to find out if you have what it takes to be the next American Ninja Warrior.

Please feel free to drop-in individually or with a group of up to six total people or better yet call to make a reservation (BEST OPTION) to ensure your time.  Each individual course level is also offered for rent with birthday party and corporate event packages.

Shake Things Up

While running on the treadmill, working out on the elliptical machine, and lifting weights are all excellent forms of exercise, it is always a good idea to change up your workout routine by taking a class. When your body gets used to an exercise, your muscles are no longer being challenged. Variety in your workout routine will keep your body guessing, resulting in a more successful workout. At Athletika Sports and Fitness, we offer a wide range of classes to meet a variety of fitness levels. Even if you’re still unsure what to do with your current training and fitness program you have to come out and check out the obstacle courses!!!!

Meet the obstacle courses at Athletika Sports and Fitness

Level One- Beginner

The beginner course is a low impact six element course featuring an excellent starting point to begin your journey to conquering all of our obstacle courses.  The course layout is V steps, over/unders, traverse wall, sea of swings, trampoline to 10 foot cargo net climb, and an eight foot warped wall.

Level Two- Intermediate

The intermediate course is a six element course designed to challenge participants immediately with a variety of American Ninja Warrior styles obstacle elements. The course layout is quintuple steps, ring traverse, hanging dog bone grips, sea of swings, devil steps, and trapeze to 12 foot cargo net.

Level Three- Advanced

The advanced course is a six element course designed bring out the competitive nature of both athletes and thrill seekers with some of the most infamous American Ninja Warrior styles obstacle elements. The course layout is modified quintuple steps, globe grasp, salmon ladder to hanging balls, peg board, giant cliffhanger, and 12 foot warped wall.

Obstacle Course Classes

Athletika Sports and Fitness Obstacle Training Classes are 8 week training programs. The first six weeks focuses on the techniques necessary to complete each individual obstacle course element, the seventh week focuses on implementing all the previously learned techniques to complete the entire course, and the eighth week is “challenge week” where participants will be able to register their fastest times!

Classes starting every hour

Mondays, Tuesdays 3pm-8pm

Wednesday- Friday 10am-3pm

Saturday 5am-12pm

Sunday 5am-6pm

Obstacle Course/Tactical Training Program

The fitness industry has taken a unique turn in the past few years. People are beginning to train for obstacle races including Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, and even ninja warrior obstacles. Good news is that Athletika Sports and Fitness has what you are looking for. Our training plans are unique and customized to the individual to fit their training goals regardless if you’re committed to an obstacle race or not.

Each individual will have a pre-test and a post-test evaluation to determine overall fitness and design a customized program. These programs are more "intense" compared to other packages offered. Each client will have individual workout cards to keep track of progress and goals. Training plans consist of strength training, mobility, and metabolic conditioning.

Mondays, Tuesdays 5am-9pm

Wednesday- Saturday 5am-2pm

Sunday 5am-6pm

Classes offered are semi-private (small group) and private (individual)
